This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading and highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor based in Essex. Specialising in high-quality commercial and office fit-out projects, they deliver complete M&E solutions from concept design through to final commissioning. Project values typically range from £100k to £5m.

The Opportunity: Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of prestigious projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their well-established team.

Role Overview: As an Electrical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of electrical packages, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with in-house teams, subcontractors, and clients, providing leadership from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical elements of projects from start to finish
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Monitor project budgets, progress, and quality, reporting regularly to senior management
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and commissioning teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services sector
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and current industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or degree-level)
