This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading and highly-respected Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor based in Hertfordshire. Specialising in high-quality commercial and office fit-out projects, they deliver complete M&E solutions from concept design through to final commissioning. Project values typically range from £100k to £3m.

The Opportunity: Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of prestigious projects, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their well-established team.

Role Overview: As an Electrical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of electrical, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with in-house teams, subcontractors, and clients, providing leadership from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical elements of projects assigned to you from start to finish
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Monitor project budgets, progress, and quality, reporting regularly to senior management
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and commissioning teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professionalism

Requirements - Electrical Project Manager:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Contracts Manager, or similar role within the building services sector
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and current industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or degree-level)
