This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager, or a strong Project Engineer ready to step up, to join a growing and well-respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects typically ranging from £100k to £1.5m.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the South Coast and surrounding areas, this role offers the chance to take real ownership of projects while developing within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Role – Electrical Project Manager

This is a key hire within the business, with a clear objective of strengthening project delivery capability and enabling senior leadership to focus on commercial growth and strategic development. You will take responsibility for managing electrical building services packages within wider M&E projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. This role offers a genuine opportunity for a capable Project Engineer to step into a fully-fledged Project Manager position, with the support and structure in place to make that transition successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing electrical packages from pre-construction through to completion
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
  • Overseeing programme delivery and ensuring key milestones are achieved
  • Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
  • Supporting procurement and ensuring effective planning of materials and labour
  • Monitoring project costs and supporting commercial performance
  • Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality are maintained throughout

Requirements

  • Experience at Project Engineer or Project Manager level within M&E / Building Services
  • Strong electrical background (essential)
  • Experience delivering commercial building services projects (typically £100k–£1.5m)
  • Confident managing projects day-to-day across both site and operational elements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Stable career history demonstrating commitment, reliability, and progression

Remuneration Package – Electrical Project Manager

  • £65,000–£75,000
  • Car or Car Allowance
