This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Contracts Manager to join a highly respected M&E Building Services contractor delivering technically challenging projects across Central London.
Operating across the commercial, hospitality, healthcare, data centre, research, and high-end refurbishment sectors, the business delivers a broad range of prestigious projects, typically ranging from £2m through to £15m+ in M&E value.
This role would suit a commercially aware and technically strong Electrical Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships with clients and subcontractors, and leading projects from pre-construction through to handover.

The Role: As a Senior Electrical Project Manager / Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of electrical building services projects from initial pre-construction involvement through to commissioning and final handover. Depending on project size and complexity, you may either lead a major project or oversee multiple schemes simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially, and to programme.
You will work closely with clients, consultants, site teams, subcontractors, and senior management, playing a key role in maintaining high standards of delivery and client relationships throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing electrical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Overseeing project programmes, procurement, technical coordination, commissioning, and handover
- Managing subcontractors and specialist suppliers
- Attending client and design team meetings
- Monitoring project budgets, variations, and commercial performance
- Supporting project teams and mentoring junior staff where required
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained throughout delivery
- Coordinating closely with mechanical teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintaining strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, or Senior M&E Project Manager within M&E Building Services
- Strong background delivering commercial, healthcare, hospitality, data centre, or technically complex projects
- Experience managing projects within live or fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors, and client relationships effectively
- Strong technical understanding of electrical building services installations
- Stable employment history
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, and relevant industry qualifications preferred
