Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and organisation of gallery exhibitions and international art fairs, including preparation and submission of fair applications.
  • Coordinate exhibition and fair materials including artwork lists, pricing, and client previews.
  • Liaise with artists and studios to ensure alignment with exhibition schedules.
  • Assist with budgets for exhibitions and fairs and monitor associated costs with Directors.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, proformas, and support with contracts and consignment agreements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all artwork details are correct.
  • Learn and maintain a full understanding of all gallery artists, works, exhibitions and fairs to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Support sales across exhibitions and private viewings and manage client follow-ups.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and assist in developing new business.
  • Host clients in the gallery and represent the gallery as required.

Essential Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating exhibitions, fairs, or complex projects.
  • Strong sales and client relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of Collectible Design, Furniture, Sculpture, and Contemporary Art.
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office (ArtBinder/FileMaker a plus).
  • Full-time role with the ability to work Saturday (Tuesday–Saturday).
  • Ability to provide out of hours support as required.
