This is a unique opportunity for a creative strategist to build the social media and content infrastructure for our new brand from the ground up. If you are passionate about education and eager to shape a brand’s digital DNA, this role offers the autonomy to drive meaningful awareness and impact.

As our specialist in Social Media, Events, and Content Creation, you will be the architect of our digital presence. You won’t just be managing channels; you will be designing the workflows and systems that power them. We are looking for an AI-savvy marketer who treats Generative AI not just as a tool, but as a core component of a modern content engine. Suitable candidates must understand and follow current trends and channels in social media and be proactive in creating new content and performance dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement the foundational social media strategy and content workflows for a burgeoning brand.
  • Content Mastery: Create high-impact visual and written content across all digital platforms. This includes developing video content showcasing our faculty and students as well as promotional materials in all recognised formats.
  • AI Integration: Utilise Generative AI and advanced content systems to streamline production, enhance creativity, and optimise marketing workflows.
  • Event Management: Organise, lead and promote digital events for prospective and current students (e.g webinars) and face-to-face events such as Induction and Graduation, ensuring support to colleagues across departments.
  • Budgeting: Being responsible for the ad budget ensuring adverts and channels are A/B tested to optimise lead generation.
  • Marketing Infrastructure Awareness: Understanding how key elements of the Marketing infrastructure such as the CRM and Website operate and develop skills to cover colleagues who maintain those systems (e.g: Google Analytics and Hubspot).
  • Performance and Metrics: Creating monitoring systems and targets for Cost per lead and engagement to ensure a high return of investment on paid and organic campaigns.

About You

You possess a bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing (or a related field) and substantial experience in a digitally-focused role. You are a "builder" by nature, possessing the technical curiosity to stay ahead of marketing trends and the analytical mindset to measure what matters.

Essential Skills:

  • Programmatic Marketing: The ability to create personas, target audiences, deploy and manage Ads principally through Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
  • AI Literacy: A deep understanding of AI-driven content systems and the ability to integrate AI into daily marketing operations.
  • Creative Flair: Exceptional communication skills with an eye for design and storytelling.
  • Organisational Excellence: The ability to work independently to meet deadlines while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Data-Driven: Proficiency in digital platforms with the ability to monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance to provide actionable insights.
  • Events Experience: Ability to lead and organise digital and face-to-face events.

Platforms that you use regularly may include:

  • Meta for Business, Google Ads, Hubspot, Canva, Adobe, Zapier, Capcut, Chat GPT and other LLMS (e.g Gemini, Claude), Sprout Social (or other SM scheduling tools), Outlook, Office 365 and Copilot.

Other Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support colleagues in planning and delivering engagement activities and events, including graduation and induction ceremonies.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy and tactics with input from colleagues and advisors.
  • Advise on budgets and update the Head of Marketing and Communications on expenses as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing and communications efforts, providing regular reports on Key Performance Indicators as well as advising on competition and industry developments.
  • Support the DGHE team with day-to-day communications tasks and attend departmental meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant licensing, GDPR, accreditation bodies, accessibility guidelines and partner approval.
