- Create cost estimates and calculate quantities for bidding and budgeting purposes.
- Prepare bridge load ratings and participate in rehabilitation and maintenance assessments.
- Support construction phase services by reviewing submittals and responding to contractor RFIs.
- Coordinate closely with roadway, traffic, and hydraulics teams to ensure smooth integration of structural components into overall project designs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 2+ years of bridge design experience.
- Familiarity with AASHTO and DOT design standards.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience with CAD platforms such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or in active pursuit.
- Experience with structural design software such as CSiBridge, SAP2000, Midas, PGSuper, or LEAP Concrete.
- Experience with Bridge Load Ratings, including AASHTOWare BrR software.
