Muir Walker Pride Architects are seeking a good natured, genial architect to join our friendly team and help shape the future of our studio. The role offers the opportunity to grow, enjoy an amazing variety of one-off designs, city centre studio, hybrid work model, private pension contributions, and opportunity for career progression within the practice.

Key Requirements

  • Part 3 (or equivalent) qualified with a minimum of five years' experience in architectural practice
  • Proven track record in running projects from inception to completion
  • Strong design skills with excellent technical and detailing ability
  • Proficiency in 3D design software such as ArchiCAD
  • On-site experience handling contractual matters
  • Sound knowledge of Scottish construction techniques
  • An ability to lead a project team

Personal Attributes

  • Confidence in meeting and communicating with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and organised
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive both as part of a team and working independently
  • Experience working with listed buildings and in conservation would be an advantage.
