Jewitt & Wilkie Architects is seeking a Project Architect or Experienced Architectural Technician to join our Glasgow office.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and technical delivery of a diverse range of projects using Archi CAD, working collaboratively from concept through to completion.
Project Architect / Experienced Architectural Technician (Applications that do not fully match exact positions advertised, such as Part 2 Assistants, may still be considered, depending on experience and knowledge).
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects from inception through to completion, preparing planning, building warrant and construction information, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors, and attending meetings and site visits as required.
- The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Relevant professional qualifications.
- Strong technical knowledge of current Building Regulations and construction methods.
- Experience of the current Full Planning Process, including knowledge of NPF4 and General Local Authority Guidance.
- Experience preparing planning and building warrant applications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage workload independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
- Experience with Archi CAD is highly desirable, as it is our primary CAD/BIM software.
