- Managing workflow, allocation of work and monitoring driver progress.
- Work with other members of the transport team to ensure jobs are covered on time, efficiently and cost effectively.
- Communicate with customers and drivers in a polite and reasonable manner.
- Deal with customer enquiries, provide quotations and complete bookings.
- Log delivery times.
- General administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be Friendly and approachable.
- Work well in a busy and sometimes pressured environment.
- Have a good graphical knowledge to enable efficient route planning.
- Have good IT skills.
- Have knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Have minimum of 1 years experience working in a Transport Office.
- National CPC would be an advantage but not essential.
Salary dependent upon experience.
