We are looking for a Factory Operative to join our busy furniture manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role within our production facility, supporting the manufacture and preparation of high-quality fitted furniture. You will work as part of a friendly team and will be involved in a variety of tasks across the factory, helping us maintain high standards of quality, efficiency and customer service.
Previous furniture manufacturing experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the manufacture and assembly of furniture components.
- Operate basic machinery and hand tools safely.
- Measure, cut, assemble and prepare materials as required.
- Assist with finishing tasks.
- Check finished components for quality and accuracy.
- Follow production drawings and schedules.
- Prepare materials and components for the next stage of production.
- Keep the workshop and production areas clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Support other members of the production team when required.
