As a Trust and Probate Accounts Specialist, you will join our supportive and knowledgeable Wills and Probate Team at David Allen, playing an important role in delivering a compliant, client-friendly trust and probate service, working closely with colleagues across Accounts, Tax and Financial Services to provide joined-up advice and a consistently high standard of care.

About the RoleAs a Trust and Probate Accounts Specialist, you will support trustees, executors and families by preparing accurate trust and estate accounts and maintaining clear financial records throughout the administration process. Your role will include preparing annual trust accounts in line with accounting standards, monitoring income, expenditure, investments and capital movements, and supporting trustees with their compliance responsibilities. You will work closely with our Tax team to ensure trust-related tax planning, reliefs and reporting requirements are appropriately addressed. In this role, you will also prepare detailed estate accounts, assist with Inheritance Tax returns, liaise with HM Revenue & Customs where required, and support applications for Grants of Probate or Letters of Administration. By combining strong technical skills with care, accuracy and professionalism, you will help deliver a trusted and supportive service to clients during important and often sensitive times.
