Join #TeamDA as a Business Development Account Manager. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Account Manager to join our growing David Allen IT Solutions team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in IT sales, business account management or the Managed Service Provider sector, who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and helping businesses use technology with confidence.

This is an exciting role for the right person to really make their own. You will have the opportunity to:

As a Business Development Account Manager, you will take ownership of your clients, building relationships with them to ensure their IT strategy, infrastructure, service requirements, faults and future opportunities are regularly reviewed and managed. You will help clients understand how their IT can better support their staff, improve efficiency and drive their business forward. Working closely with our experienced technical team to identify the right solutions for each client.

A key part of this role will also be developing new business opportunities. You will help build relationships with businesses in our target areas, support marketing campaigns, attend networking events, engage with social media, and work from target client lists to bring new clients into our service offering. You will also identify opportunities to introduce clients to relevant technology add-ons and wider services across the David Allen Group where these would genuinely benefit the client. This role is about building trust, understanding each business and helping clients make informed decisions about their IT.

The ideal candidate will have three or more years’ experience in IT sales, business account management or the Managed Service Provider sector. You will have strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to explain IT solutions clearly to a broad range of clients. You will also have technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, on-premises and cloud-based server environments, routers, switches, firewalls, business phone systems, and cybersecurity solutions.

We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and confident working under their own initiative. You will be able to manage your own workload, record work accurately, follow established processes and communicate with clients and colleagues in a timely and professional way. You will be motivated to keep learning, interested in new technologies and committed to delivering excellent client service.
