Join #TeamDA as an Independent Financial Adviser. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and client‑focused Independent Financial Adviser to join our Financial Services team in Dumfries. This role offers the chance to build strong, long‑term relationships with clients across South West Scotland, supporting them with clear, practical financial advice that helps them plan with confidence.
About This Role
As an Independent Financial Adviser, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, delivering tailored financial advice based on a clear understanding of their individual circumstances and objectives. You will ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring confidence in the advice delivered.
- Develop new client relationships to grow the Financial Services offering within the region.
- Meet workload targets and deadlines, maintaining accurate records using XPlan.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support referrals and deliver joined‑up client solutions.
- Maintain a high level of organisation, attention to detail and professionalism.
- Continuously develop knowledge within financial planning.
