Production Operative – Daventry Metal Products
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire (NN11)
Hours: 45 hrs/week (Mon-Thu 07:00-17:15 | Fri 07:00-13:00 - Early finish Friday)
About the Role
Daventry Metal Products is hiring a reliable Production Operative to join our established, growing manufacturing team.
We offer a permanent, direct-company contract from Day 1, with clear progression opportunities and long-term stability.
- Direct Employment: Permanent contract from Day 1 - no agency uncertainty.
- Early Friday Finish: Standard shift finishes at 13:00 every Friday.

Key Responsibilities
- General metalworking: materials handling, deburring, and component assembly.
- Workshop operations: drilling, sawing, tapping, and basic press brake operation.
- Assisting with semi-automatic brazing, spot welding, and component pressure testing.
- Operating machinery (including robotic welders where trained) and maintaining a tidy work area.
What We Are Looking For
- Dexterous, methodical, and self-motivated with good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual, able to work well independently and within a team.
- Experience with machine operation or robotic welding is desirable but not essential.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
