Overview

JOB TITLE: Teaching Assistant SEND Level 2

GRADE/SALARY: Grade E (Points 4-6) £25,185 to £25,989 (Full Time Equivalent) - (£19,815 to £20,448 pro rata)

HOURS: 34 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset days)

Hours of Work: Mon 8.40am-4.30pm; Tue 8.40am-3.50pm; Wed 8.40am-4.30pm; Thu & Fri 8.40am-3.30pm

Daventry Hill School is a specialist school which caters for the needs of over 230 pupils from the ages of 4 to 18. Our fantastic pupils have a wide range of needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD and complex learning difficulties; with additional needs such as ASD and SLCN. The school is part of Creating Tomorrow Trust which is a growing Trust supporting schools who believe that children can achieve irrespective of their learning needs.

Our purpose is to create happy, successful people and our vision is to inspire and empower our young people to achieve success.

We are a school of choice and currently oversubscribed. We strongly believe in our wider commitment to the community and work with other schools and local businesses to develop the provision for young people with SEND as a whole.
