Manufacturing Assistant based in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom
Salary: £30,420 per annum
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of components for electrical switchgear systems, specifically:
- Control plate assembly
- Trunking & DIN rail cutting
- Cable preparation & assembly
- CNC engraving machine & label printing
- Goods in inspection
- Export packing of switchgear panels
- Uphold the company’s standards and deliver products of unmatched excellence
- Champion cleanliness and organisation, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment that fuels productivity
- Collaborate closely with your team to meet and exceed production targets and deadlines
- Adhere rigorously to health and safety regulations
What you’ll need
- Previous experience in manufacturing is essential
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and assembly processes is a plus, but not essential
- Strong communication and coordination skills
