Hours: Full Time, Permanent - 37 hours (8-4.30 Mon-Thu, Fri 8-1pm).

Internal Vacancy - Quality Assistant role: To support the Quality Manager. This role will be instrumental in ensuring products meet required specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation in line with company procedures.
- Identify and report non‑conformities and assist in corrective and preventive actions.
- Communicate with various areas of the business – production, logistics, management, suppliers and customers as required.
- Assist with compliance to ISO standards and internal quality systems to achieve required targets.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure quality at every stage of manufacturing.
- Assist in internal audits and support external audits when required.
- Verify proper labelling, traceability, and documentation of supplied and manufactured products.
- Promote quality awareness on the shop floor.
- Continuous improvement skills.
What you’ll need to join us as an Internal Vacancy - Quality Assistant:
- Basic understanding of switchgear systems and components.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with standards such as IEC, ISO 9001 is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
- Teamworker, interpersonal and communication skills.
