This is a full‑time, on‑site Traffic Marshall role based in London. As a Traffic Marshall, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on and around the construction site. Your key duties will include:
- Directing site traffic
- Coordinating deliveries
- Maintaining safe access and egress routes
- Ensuring compliance with traffic management plans and health and safety regulations
You will work closely with site management, logistics teams, and delivery drivers to ensure traffic flows safely and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of the site and minimising risks to workers and the public.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Traffic Marshall or Banksman on construction sites
- Strong understanding of construction site traffic management and safety procedures
- Ability to safely direct vehicles and plant in line with site traffic management plans
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with drivers, site teams, and supervisors
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman certification (e.g. CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent)
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations with a proactive approach to site safety
- Previous experience in construction logistics or similar roles is an advantage
