The Learning Partnership, together with the Headteacher, invites an exceptional Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to join our team. It is a role for a committed, reliable, and resilient individual who is passionate about helping children thrive. About the Role

  • Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils and demonstrate good subject and National Curriculum knowledge.
  • Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, managing behaviour effectively to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and pupil development to secure co-ordinated outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures, supporting the school’s values and vision.

The successful applicant will have a high level of expertise of the National Curriculum and its effective delivery. They will demonstrate a sound understanding of children’s attitudes and achievements and proven experience in developing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to work in the UK. This is a MPS Temporary Teaching position starting on 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027 with working hours Monday to Friday.
