Full job description Multi-Skilled Operative – Widnes £14.40 per hour | Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 4:00pm NEW STARTER BONUS – £250 AFTER 8 WEEKS Daval Associates are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join a busy waste management operation based in Widnes, WA8. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced plant operator with a background in mobile plant and site operations, ideally within the waste or recycling sector. Key Responsibilities * Operating a Loading Shovel * Operating a 360 Excavator with rehandler attachment * Loading, moving and processing waste materials safely and efficiently * Supporting general site operations as required * Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting any defects * Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping on site Requirements * Proven experience operating a Loading Shovel * Proven experience operating a 360 Excavator with rehandler attachment * Previous waste or recycling experience is preferred * Strong understanding of health and safety procedures * Ability to work as part of a team and follow site procedures * Reliable, flexible and hardworking attitude Pay & Hours * £14.40 per hour * Monday to Friday * 6:00am – 4:00pm * Overtime over 45 hours: 1.25x * Saturday: 1.5x * Sunday: 2x New Starter Bonus £250 bonus after completing 8 weeks If you have the required mobile plant experience and are looking for a stable, ongoing opportunity within the waste management sector, apply today and a member of the Daval team will be in touch
