Hours: Monday to Sunday – Various shift patterns

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a welcoming elderly care home in Clacton-on-Sea.
You will play an important role in providing nutritious, tasty and well-presented meals for our residents, helping to create a positive dining experience while meeting individual dietary and nutritional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for residents

Follow menus and ensure meals are prepared to a consistently high standard
*
Cater for special dietary requirements, allergies and individual preferences
*
Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
*
Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are clean and organised
*
Assist with stock control and minimise food waste
*
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider care home team
*
Support the smooth running of the kitchen during busy service periods
*
Help create an enjoyable and welcoming mealtime experience for residents
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
*
Has a genuine passion for cooking and providing quality food
*
Understands the importance of nutrition and dietary requirements
*
Has good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety xgikmsk
*
Is reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
*
Is caring, patient and respectful when working with elderly residents
*
Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative
*
Is flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
