Salary: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Sunday - Various shift patterns

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a welcoming elderly care home in Clacton-on-Sea.
You will play an important role in providing nutritious, tasty and well-presented meals for our residents, helping to create a positive dining experience while meeting individual dietary and nutritional requirements.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a chef who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in preparing high-quality food for others.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for residents
- Follow menus and ensure meals are prepared to a consistently high standard
- Cater for special dietary requirements, allergies and individual preferences
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are clean and organised
- Assist with stock control and minimise food waste
- Work closely with the Head Chef and wider care home team
- Support the smooth running of the kitchen during busy service periods
- Help create an enjoyable and welcoming mealtime experience for residents
About You
- Has previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
- Has a genuine passion for cooking and providing quality food
- Understands the importance of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Has good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Is reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
- Is caring, patient and respectful when working with elderly residents
- Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative
- Is flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
