The successful applicant will be required to work on a rota basis with other staff members. Our lifeguards are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of all people within the swimming pool. This role will involve significant involvement with pupils.
Responsibilities
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact
- Plan and deliver lessons
- Poolside preparation prior to starting lessons
- Be up-to-date with all current safety standards and emergency procedures
- Be a positive role model, promoting a fun and engaging environment for all swimmers
- Log your lessons and your pupil's abilities, via online or paper format
- Agree to all swim policies and code of conduct, including Safeguarding and Health & Safety at Work
- Flexibility to work and cover shifts, if and when required by the school
