Dauntsey House Care Home is a small residential care home in the village of West Lavington SN10. We care for a total of 21 residents in a unique family style home set in beautiful surroundings. We are looking for a senior care assistant to join our team of care staff. We are seeking someone who is caring and compassionate and able to deliver high quality person centred care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal care for residents
- Administering medication
- Liaising with care professionals
- Ensuring the care shift is run smoothly
In return we are offering a full time position of 36 hours per week (including every other weekend):
- Enhanced hourly rate for weekend hours
- Free hot meal whilst on shift

- 5.6 weeks holiday per year

Due to the nature of the working environment the following are essential:
- The home is CQC registered and all staff members are required to have an Enhanced DBS.
- Reliable transport to and from work is essential as the home is located in a small village just outside Devizes, and the bus service often does not coincide with shift patterns.
- You will be required to work alternate weekends.
- The shifts are allocated on a monthly rota, with a normal shift being from 0800 to 1800 (10 Hours).
- The home is spread over three floors and you will be required to use the stairs to access all areas of the home.
