Due to continued growth and increased production demand, we are seeking a reliable and skilled CNC Operator to join our team at our Lisburn facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on machining work, takes pride in quality and accuracy, and wants long-term stability in a modern, clean, and well-equipped environment.

You will play an important role in producing precision aerospace components to demanding standards, working with advanced equipment as part of a skilled and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate 3 & 5-axis CNC machining centres
  • Load and run proven CNC programs
  • Carry out tool changes and offsets as required
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Perform in-process inspection using measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
  • Ensure components meet strict tolerance and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work closely with programmers and quality personnel
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines in a precision engineering environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience working to tight tolerances
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment and inspection processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good work ethic and team-focused attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Experience within the aerospace sector
  • Experience operating 5-axis machines
  • Experience operating CNC machines with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
  • Programming experience
  • Willingness to work shifts if required at premium rate

Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland

Hours: 40-hour basic week

Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience. Overtime available as required.
