We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems & Cloud Engineer to take ownership of the core platforms that our clients business runs on.
It's a broad, senior, hands-on role with genuine scope across identity, cloud, endpoints, security and automation.
You’ll work in a modern, cloud-first environment with a mixed Windows and mac OS fleet, and partner with the Dev Ops function on automation and infrastructure.
The focus is on strong engineering fundamentals, not a checklist of specific products.
Get the principles right and the tools follow.
- What you’ll own
- Identity and access across the organisation, end to end
- Single sign-on and automated provisioning across core Saa S platforms
- The Windows and mac OS device fleet through MDM, including policy, security and updates
- Endpoint and network security tooling
- Multi-cloud accounts, access, networking and security
- Automation of operational processes through scripting and workflow tools
- Support for infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD alongside the Dev Ops team
- Platform monitoring, incident investigation and reliability improvements
- What we’re looking for
Solid engineering foundations matter more here than any single tool. You’ll bring real strength across most of:
- Identity and access management, with a practical grasp of Zero Trust
- Secure cloud administration on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Endpoint management at scale across Windows and mac OS
- Scripting and automation (Python, Power Shell or Bash)
- Networking, DNS and traffic security
- Strong troubleshooting on complex issues, with an eye for cost and performance
- Sound judgement on security, data protection and access governance
- Clear communication with a technically demanding user base
Exposure to modern identity platforms, cloud security tooling and standards such as ISO 27001 is a plus, but a proactive, problem-solving mindset counts for just as much.
