Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Compliance & Training Officer to join our client's team. This role plays a key part in supporting and maintaining company‐wide compliance, with a strong focus on ISO standards and accreditation. You will be involved in supporting multiple ISO standards concurrently (including ISO 9001 and ISO 27001), working closely with external advisors and consultants to ensure systems, documentation, and processes remain compliant and audit‐ready. You will also play an active role in audit preparation and coordination, including supporting UKAS‐accredited audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main internal point of contact for Health & Safety and working environment matters, including Fire Marshal duties
- Support and coordinate compliance across multiple ISO standards (including ISO 9001 and ISO 27001)
- Maintain and improve systems to support ongoing ISO accreditation and compliance
- Prepare for and support external audits, including UKAS‐accredited audits
- Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement activities
- Update and maintain internal documentation, including procedures, SOPs, and EOPs
- Coordinate the production and maintenance of working instructions
- Review quality audits and contribute to maintaining high standards
- Coordinate and chair monthly compliance review meetings
- Liaise with external bodies, auditors, and suppliers as required
- Carry out weekly Legionella and Fire Alarm testing in line with legislation
Training
- Coordinate the annual compulsory company‐wide training programme
- Maintain and update staff induction processes
- Ensure training records are accurate and up to date
- Develop and maintain the company training matrix
- Support the development of operational staff skills matrices
- Monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements
Facilities Support
- Act as the main point of contact for Facilities Management matters
- Liaise with suppliers for maintenance, support, and compliance‐related services
About You

Essential Skills And Experience
- Experience working within compliance, quality, training, or health & safety functions
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience maintaining policies, procedures, or compliance documentation
- Ability to coordinate projects and manage competing priorities
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with ISO standards
- Internal auditing experience
- Knowledge of Health & Safety or Facilities Management processes
- Experience developing or coordinating training programmes
