DATS are looking for a Site Manager - Materials Handling Sector to join a leading engineering team delivering large-scale projects across the materials handling sector - from quarries and ports to tunnelling and renewables. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, proactive Site Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys taking ownership of complex technical work.
What You’ll Do
- Lead site operations with a strong safety-first approach.
- Manage teams, contractors, and daily site activities.
- Review RAMS, Lift Plans and construction documentation.
- Plan and coordinate site logistics, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality.
- Drive compliance with CDM, Health & Safety and company standards.
About You
- Experienced Site Manager (5–10 years) in construction or engineering.
- Background in materials handling, conveyors, steelwork, or industrial projects.
- Strong communicator, problem solver and decision‐maker.
- Flexible to travel across UK and international sites.
- HNC / HND (minimum), CSCS Black Card, SMSTS & First Aid essential.
