We’re looking for a Safety & Criticality Engineer to join a leading nuclear and energy organisation. This is a hands-on role supporting criticality and nuclear hazard assessments for complex engineering projects.

You’ll be:

  • Performing design safety analysis for nuclear and high-hazard systems.
  • Conducting and following up on HAZOP, HAZAN, HAZID studies.
  • Producing criticality safety and dose calculations using MONK and MCNP.
  • Reviewing and contributing to safety documentation and licence submissions.
  • Providing technical support to project teams and customers on safety matters.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in safety analysis, ideally with criticality focus.
  • Hands-on experience with MONK, MCNP, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Eligibility for or holding DV Security Clearance.
  • Flexible approach, occasional travel or out-of-hours work.
