We are currently supporting a well-established engineering consultancy based in a thriving, in-demand area of Central London, who are looking to appoint an experienced CAD Designer to support ongoing and upcoming projects within the offshore and marine sector. This is a senior-level opportunity with a civil/structural discipline bias, suitable for someone with 10–15 years’ experience, offering flexibility on both working pattern and employment type.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 3D
  • Developing and modifying detailed designs in line with engineering specifications
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other technical teams
  • Managing drawing updates, revisions, and document control
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements
  • Supporting projects from concept through to delivery
Key Requirements:
  • 10–15 years’ proven experience in a CAD Design role - ideally supporting civil/structural requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 3D
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience within an engineering consultancy or similar technical environment is highly desirable
