We are currently supporting a well-established engineering consultancy based in a thriving, in-demand area of Central London, who are looking to appoint an experienced CAD Designer to support ongoing and upcoming projects within the offshore and marine sector. This is a senior-level opportunity with a civil/structural discipline bias, suitable for someone with 10–15 years’ experience, offering flexibility on both working pattern and employment type.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 3D
- Developing and modifying detailed designs in line with engineering specifications
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other technical teams
- Managing drawing updates, revisions, and document control
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements
- Supporting projects from concept through to delivery
Key Requirements:
- 10–15 years’ proven experience in a CAD Design role - ideally supporting civil/structural requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 3D
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience within an engineering consultancy or similar technical environment is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
