About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a structured production environment, offering a competitive hourly rate and a 4-day working week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pressing (using Press Brake) of door components and related parts/assemblies in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, and other materials as required.
- Working to strict Inspection and Test Plans, under close supervision, when required.
- Using overhead crane.
- All work produced is to be capable of passing relevant inspection.
- Unpacking of delivered material and repacking as required after pressing, including kitting.
- Maintain the press brake work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret pressing requirements.
- May be required to undertake and pass a security background check.
- Ability to work to safe standard, and compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements.
- Any other ad hoc duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post.

- Pressing (using Press Brake) of components for doors and related products to Company Standards.
- Minimisation of quality defects.
- Minimisation of H&S incidents/accidents.
- Continuous development of skills and experience.
- Achievement of time, quality and delivery targets.
About You:
- Proven experience operating a press brake.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Valid overhead crane certification.
- FLT (Forklift Truck) licence (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow processes.
- Experience in the use of Route Cards / Process Flow Trackers / Travellers/ MITP.
- Own transport is required.

- You may be required to undergo a security background check.
- All work must be carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
