Salary: £35,685.85 per annum (£18.48 per hour)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 37 hours per week across 4 days (Monday to Thursday). Overtime available during busy periods.

About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to join a busy and growing operations team. This hands-on role involves re-assembling doors and related products using supplied hardware, components, and materials, ensuring all finished products meet quality standards before delivery. This opportunity would suit someone with assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys practical work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-assemble doors and products in line with technical drawings and fitting instructions
  • Fit custom parts using hand tools and associated equipment
  • Install insulation materials and stock components where required
  • Complete finishing work to a high standard ready for final delivery
  • Accurately complete product and project documentation
  • Assist with manual handling duties when required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards
  • Support the wider operations team with additional duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience using small hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and fitting instructions
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within steel door manufacturing or a similar environment
  • Knowledge of door hardware and locking systems
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methods
  • FLT licence and driving experience
