As a New Business Sales Consultant at Datel, you’ll play a key role in driving sustainable growth by converting qualified opportunities into long term customer relationships. From the outset, the focus is on understanding; taking time to explore each prospective customer’s business, priorities and challenges through thoughtful discovery conversations. You’ll manage complex sales cycles end to end, building trust with senior stakeholders such as CFOs and Finance Directors and guiding opportunities forward with clarity and confidence.

Along the way, you’ll create and maintain clear close plans, lead commercial discussions and negotiations, and ensure opportunities progress with momentum and transparency. Collaboration sits at the heart of how we work. You’ll partner closely with presales and wider Datel teams to deliver a joined up, professional experience for customers, one that reflects our values and leaves people feeling confident they are working with the right partner.

What To Bring

This role suits someone with a proven track record of winning new business within ERP, SaaS or business software environments. Experience of navigating multi stakeholder sales cycles and engaging credibly at C suite level is essential, as is confidence in leading value based commercial conversations and negotiating longer term agreements. You’ll bring structure and discipline to pipeline management and forecasting, alongside strong commercial judgement. Just as importantly, you’ll approach sales with integrity, curiosity and a collaborative mindset, understanding that how results are achieved matters as much as the results themselves.

We have a hybrid approach to working – you’ll have the autonomy to choose where you want to work to get the job done alongside regular planned in-person interaction with the team and wider business at our Warrington office.
