We are currently recruiting for an experienced 3rd Line IT Professional to join our growing team, based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will have strong experience across Windows Server environments, networking (Cisco/IOS), cloud technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID and Intune, and cyber security. With an expanding client portfolio, you will work as part of a dedicated technical team delivering high-quality IT support to multiple clients in a fast-paced environment. The role involves providing escalation support to both technical and account management teams, ensuring solutions and projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also provide end-user support across all levels, from 1st through to 3rd line.

This position is available on either a fully office-based or hybrid working model, operating from our Grantham office. You will be required to travel to customer sites when necessary and participate in an extended hours support rota.

The role involves:

  • Operating as an IT Professional, ensure all administrative duties are carried out to ensure documentation of activities, technologies and processes.
  • Managing and developing team members.
  • Providing support for the Solutions Team.
  • Act as an escalation point to 1st and 2nd line team members.
  • Attendance to meetings.
  • Deliver solutions and projects.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need a full manual driving licence along with the technical experience listed below:

Essential

  • Windows Server (2012–2025): Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Networking (Cisco/IOS): Strong networking skills, including the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networks, VLANs, subnets, firewalls, and routers.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, and Intune, including configuration, troubleshooting, and migrations.
  • Cyber Security: Strong understanding of cyber security best practices and security principles.

Desirable

  • Veeam: Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Microsoft Power Platform: Experience with Power Automate and/or Power Apps.
  • Virtualisation: Experience with VMware and Hyper-V; vSAN experience advantageous.
