Senior Design Manager (Data Centres) – Remote (EMEA Travel Required)

We’re supporting a global data centre operator in their search for a Senior Design Manager to join their high-performing EMEA Design & Construction team .
In this position, you’ll lead the delivery of world-class data centre design projects—including new builds, phased expansions, customer fit-outs, and upgrades to live operational sites. You’ll work closely with external consultants and internal teams to drive high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions that align with the business’s technical and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design management of hyperscale and colocation data centre projects across the EMEA region
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success
- Oversee end-to-end design delivery from concept through to construction handover
- Champion best practices in design quality, compliance, sustainability, and cost efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects
- Strong technical knowledge in MEP, architecture, and/or civil engineering
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
