An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established framework, supporting a portfolio of customer connection projects. This role offers the opportunity to take full commercial ownership across multiple schemes, delivering both pre- and post-contract services within a dynamic infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of customer connection projects.
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead cost management, forecasting, reporting, and change control processes.
  • Administer contracts and manage risk in line with project and framework requirements.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work independently while maintaining alignment with wider commercial and project teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
  • Strong commercial management and contract administration expertise.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience within electrical Transmission & Distribution.

Working Arrangement

The successful candidate will be required to attend the Glasgow office a minimum of one day per week, with flexibility for remote working for the remainder of the week.
