This role is based on site in Norway. We are working with a leading hyperscale data centre developer delivering on a 230MW data centre project. This organisation is delivering next-generation AI infrastructure, combining high-performance GPUs with highly efficient, sustainable hyperscale data centres designed specifically for AI workloads.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a client-side role on some of the most technically advanced data centre developments in the market and grow with a platform built for long-term expansion.
As an MEP Project Manager, you will take ownership of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing delivery on-site, ensuring systems are coordinated, installed, commissioned, and handed over to the highest hyperscale standards. You will play a key role in integrating complex MEP systems, managing multiple contractors, and driving performance across safety, quality, programme and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate on-site MEP delivery across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and life safety systems
- Manage interfaces between MEP disciplines and CSA teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Provide technical oversight through design reviews, inspections, and resolution of technical challenges
- Drive commissioning readiness, overseeing testing, documentation, and handover to operations
- Chair coordination meetings with contractors and consultants, tracking progress and resolving issues
- Monitor programme, procurement, and commissioning milestones, reporting risks and performance to project leadership
- Champion safety, sustainability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement across site
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Strong technical understanding of power, cooling, HVAC, controls, and fire protection systems
- Proven experience managing contractors and complex multi-package interfaces
- Solid knowledge of commissioning processes and operational readiness
- Willingness to work site-based in Europe on rotation or relocate for the project duration
