We are representing a leading international contractor delivering complex mission critical projects across Europe. They are currently seeking an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Finland.

The Role

As MEP Commercial Manager, you will take commercial responsibility for a significant €60M mechanical package, working as part of a high-performing project team on a flagship data centre development. Operating on a 10/4 rotation, you will be site-based in Finland, reporting directly into the Commercial Lead, and playing a key role in ensuring commercial success across the lifecycle of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial aspects of a €60M mechanical package
  • Manage cost control, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project
  • Administer contracts and manage subcontractor relationships
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
  • Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Work closely with project delivery and engineering teams to ensure alignment
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Commercial Lead

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role within MEP or construction
  • Mechanical or electrical background with strong commercial expertise
  • Experience on large-scale infrastructure or mission critical projects (data centre experience preferred but not essential)
  • Relevant qualification, ideally degree-level (Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of contract forms and commercial management processes
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and in a fast-paced site environment
