This role is based on site in Norway. DataX are partnering with a hyperscale data centre developer delivering advanced AI-driven infrastructure in northern Norway. Due to project expansion, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical Mechanical systems on a major 230MW hyperscale campus. This role offers a career-changing opportunity to work at the lead of hyperscale and AI data centre development. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate mechanical construction activities across site
- Review and validate designs, submittals and technical documentation
- Manage interfaces with Electrical, Controls and CSA teams
- Oversee QA, inspections, testing and commissioning
- Track progress, identify risks and support recovery planning
- Drive a strong safety-first and quality-led culture
About You
- Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on data centre or mission-critical projects
- Strong knowledge of cooling systems, plant infrastructure, piping and building services
- Experience managing contractors and complex site interfaces
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
