A leading international engineering and construction group is seeking an Electrical Director to lead electrical strategy, technical governance, and project delivery across major European programmes. This is a high-impact leadership position, suited to someone who understands the complexity of large-scale power infrastructure, mission-critical environments, and multi-project oversight.
The business is scaling across Europe and requires a senior electrical leader who can bring structure, consistency and strategic oversight to a growing portfolio. This is not a single-project position. It’s an opportunity to shape how electrical delivery is executed across multiple high-value programmes, influencing standards, leadership capability, and long-term growth.
For the right individual, you will act as the senior authority for electrical delivery across the portfolio:
- Provide strategic leadership across all electrical disciplines on UK and European projects
- Oversee design coordination, procurement strategy, installation standards, and commissioning readiness
- Ensure programme alignment between engineering, construction, and commercial teams
- Lead senior Electrical Project Managers and technical specialists
- Establish technical governance, QA/QC standards, and best practice frameworks
- Support pre-construction and tender stages with technical input and risk assessment
- Engage directly with clients and consultants at executive level
- Identify and mitigate technical, sequencing and energisation risks
- Drive performance, productivity and safety standards across live projects.
