An opportunity to lead engineering governance across a high-profile, mission-critical EMEA portfolio within the financial services sector. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for technical delivery, compliance, operational resilience and performance across multiple live critical environments. You will act as the senior engineering authority, ensuring contractual compliance, safety governance, risk mitigation and best-in-class operational standards. This is not a site role. This is regional oversight with executive-level stakeholder exposure.
The Role
- Own engineering governance and contractual compliance across EMEA sites
- Lead multi-site critical operations, maintenance and project delivery
- Provide senior technical oversight of HV/LV systems, mechanical infrastructure and mission-critical plant
- Oversee IST testing, change control, shutdown planning and defect remediation
- Drive compliance across PPM, statutory maintenance, CMMS governance and audit closure
- Lead succession planning, training compliance and engineering capability development
- Provide escalation leadership during critical incidents
- Deliver monthly critical environment reporting to senior stakeholders
- Support budget preparation, financial control and commercial performance
- Travel across EMEA will be required.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in critical engineering environments
- 3+ years in a senior leadership role
- Experience across multi-site or regional portfolios
- Strong background in data centres, banking or high-availability environments
- Trade qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Authorised Person (HV preferred) or equivalent technical authority
- Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and engineering governance
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and contract performance
- Degree-qualified engineers or those holding Senior Authorised Person / Authorising Engineer status will be viewed favorably.
