Commissioning Manager

This project is based on site in Norway.

DataX are partnering with a hyperscale data centre developer delivering advanced, AI-driven infrastructure in northern Norway. We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning strategy and execution on a major 230MW hyperscale campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full commissioning lifecycle across electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems
• Develop and manage L1–L5 commissioning plans, trackers, and readiness strategies
• Coordinate commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through IST and RFS
• Interface closely with Electrical, Mechanical, CSA, Controls, Vendors, and Client teams
• Manage commissioning schedules, risks, and dependencies to support programme delivery
• Oversee testing, witnessing, documentation, and handover to operations
• Champion safety, quality, and best practice commissioning standards across site

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on data centre projects
• Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, cooling systems, BMS, and controls
• Demonstrated experience leading Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and vendors in a live environment
• Client-side or hyperscale developer experience highly advantageous
