We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Public Relations Manager to lead and scale our public relations and strategic communications across Europe (priority), the US, and Canada. This is not a "typical" PR role focused solely on relationship management; we are looking for a strategic professional who deeply understands business objectives and can define targeted approaches to reach them.

You will be responsible for building DataWalk’s visibility and narrative in two strategic segments:

  • Public Sector B2G (Priority 1): Law enforcement, intelligence, and defense.
  • Commercial B2B (Priority 2): Financial crime and banking.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications & Positioning
    • Business-Driven PR: Define and execute a PR strategy that aligns directly with Go-To-Market (GTM) priorities for the government and banking sectors.
    • Narrative Development: Architect consistent product narratives that translate complex AI and graph analytics into clear, value-driven business messaging.
    • Content Leadership: Shift from tactical coordination to strategic ownership, actively defining target audiences, key messaging, and distribution strategies.
    • Public Affairs Support: While secondary to PR, provide strategic counsel on Public Affairs and capitalize on high-impact opportunities as they arise.
  • Media & Analyst Relations
    • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with top-tier business, technology, and vertical-specific media (Finance, Security, Defense, Data).
    • Content Development: Oversee the production of press releases, executive interviews, bylined articles, case studies, and visionary thought leadership.
    • Analyst Influence: Drive analyst and influencer visibility in close collaboration with Product Marketing and the executive leadership team.
  • Agency & Executive Management
    • Agency Oversight: Select, onboard, and lead regional PR agencies, ensuring they exceed rigorous KPIs and deliver high-caliber results.
    • Executive Enablement: Coach and prepare senior leadership for high-stakes media engagements, keynote presentations, and strategic events.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in public relations, specifically within an IT/software vendor environment; candidates with only agency-side experience will not be considered.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to align PR activities with business objectives and strategic positioning, as opposed to merely managing tactical processes.
  • Market Expertise: B2G (Law Enforcement, Defense, or Intelligence) sectors.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to translate complex technology (AI, analytics) into compelling narratives that resonate with business leaders.
  • Geographic Reach: Demonstrated experience operating across both European and North American markets.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Location: United Kingdom

We offer:

  • Direct impact on the global expansion of the fast-growing investigative analytics company with global ambitions.
  • A competitive commission structure and access to professional development tools.
  • Growth opportunities in a dedicated and passionate team of professionals.
  • A challenging and inspiring environment.
  • Work remotely in a flexible, independent work environment.
