About Us: Datavault AI, along with its event-technology subsidiary Event Citadel (formerly CompuSystems), operates across a diverse portfolio of technology and service divisions. Datavault AI Inc. delivers high-performance computing software, Web 3.0 data-management solutions, and advanced audio technologies to a broad range of industries. Event Citadel, founded in 1976, is a trusted provider of end-to-end event technology solutions, offering registration, ticketing, lead retrieval, and attendee-engagement services for events of all sizes across trade, association, corporate, and government markets.

The Role: We're looking for a skilled full-stack developer to join our DataVault Platform team. You'll help develop, maintain, and advance our core Web 3.0 data-management platform, a multi-service system spanning a Next.js frontend, a Go REST API, and a Python AI governance service backed by PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS S3. This is a hands-on role where you'll have real ownership over the direction of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality, scalable SaaS features across our Next.js (App Router, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui) frontend and Go (Chi, PostgreSQL, Redis) backend.
  • Design and ship REST APIs in Go, including database schema migrations, caching strategies, and integrations with third-party services (payments, KYC, blockchain, AI).
  • Develop feature modules in Portal-v2 using TanStack Query, Zustand, Zod, and React Hook Form, with Vitest and Playwright test coverage.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and product to architect medium-to-large features from concept to delivery to live support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full stack — frontend, API, database, and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to platform concerns: authentication, permissions (Container > Workspace > Item hierarchy), observability (OpenTelemetry), and CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines, SSM deploys to EC2).
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience building production Next.js or React applications with TypeScript.
  • Proficiency with Go, including idiomatic HTTP services (Chi, Gin, or similar) and concurrency patterns.
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL experience preferred), including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling: Tailwind CSS, component libraries (shadcn/ui, Radix), state management (Zustand, Redux, or equivalent), and server-state libraries (TanStack Query, SWR).
  • Familiarity with Redis, AWS S3, and REST API design.
  • Solid grasp of software development practices including agile methodologies, version control (Git, worktrees), and testing (Vitest, Playwright, Go testing).
  • Bonus: experience with blockchain/Web3 (EVM, ERC-721/ERC-20), payments (ACH, Finxact, PayPal), KYC providers, or AI/ML integrations.
  • Comfort working in multidisciplinary teams with people of diverse perspectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
