The Role
- Lead in the development of the Data Delivery framework, working closely with the PMO to implement robust governance and financial controls tailored to the organisation\’s needs.
- Coach your team of Data Delivery Managers in agile ways of working.
- Promote strong collaboration between your team, the broader Data team, the COO team, and key stakeholders.
- Prioritise your team\’s tasks according to business requirements, emphasising the delivery of high-impact capabilities with minimal effort and dependencies. Manage the backlog and maintain clear, transparent communication with stakeholders throughout the process.
- Understand your stakeholders and establish excellent relationships and communication forums to deliver project communications and updates.
What you will need
- Demonstrated experience in line managing/coaching Delivery Managers or Project Managers.
- Familiarity with various project delivery methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, Planned Iterative, etc.
- A solid understanding of key data domain areas, including data governance, architecture, modelling, engineering, delivery, quality, master data, and how data supports analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Insurance/FS experience/regulatory industry experience preferable.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at once.
- Skilled at leading cross-functional teams to successfully complete projects.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and networking skills.
