We're working with an organisation in Oxfordshire whose work has a positive social impact, looking to add a Senior Insight Analyst to their data team.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working with data to answer business questions, uncover trends and support decision making. You'll be responsible for developing Power BI reporting, writing SQL queries and delivering insight that helps stakeholders make informed decisions across the organisation.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
- Writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyse data
- Working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Producing clear, accurate and user-friendly reporting
- Investigating data issues and helping to improve data quality
- Supporting ongoing reporting and business intelligence projects
What we're looking for:
- Strong Power BI experience
- Strong SQL querying and data analysis experience
- Experience gathering requirements from business users
- The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
