We’re working with a well-established UK financial services business looking for a senior pricing leader to take ownership of pricing strategy, commercial modelling, and revenue optimisation across the business. Reporting into the C Suite, this role will lead pricing activity across a core product area, with responsibility for P&L performance including new sales, reloads, and in-life revenue.
You’ll set the pricing direction, develop the frameworks and models that support commercial decisions, and act as the senior pricing voice across Product, Commercial, Finance, and leadership teams. The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on delivery. You’ll be expected to work directly with data, build models, test assumptions, and translate insight into practical commercial outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the pricing strategy across retail, partner, and digital channels
- Lead pricing tests, commercial trials, and elasticity analysis
- Develop margin models, pricing frameworks, and revenue optimisation approaches
- Own channel pricing architecture and distribution strategy
- Monitor competitor activity and market movements
- Provide pricing inputs into the Annual Operating Plan
- Lead a major product migration with full P&L responsibility
- Ensure pricing activity aligns with fair value and regulatory expectations
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Finance, and Operations
What you’ll bring:
- Experience leading pricing strategy, revenue management, or commercial optimisation
- 5+ years’ experience in pricing, analytics, revenue, or commercial finance roles
- Strong financial and data modelling skills (Excel, SQL, Python, R or similar)
- Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
- Exposure to modern data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar would be beneficial
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Maths, Statistics, or related discipline
- Understanding of FCA Consumer Duty, fair value frameworks, or comparable regulatory environments
You’ll need to be comfortable moving between detailed analysis and senior-level commercial discussions, helping shape decisions through data and insight.
