We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer, with this role offering the opportunity to design and deliver cloud-based data solutions that integrate multiple data sources and enable advanced reporting, visualisation and activation capabilities. Working with a new client, it is essential to hold experience with Salesforce and extensive skills with the Google ecosystem.
Working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will build and maintain scalable data environments, transform and model data, and deliver solutions that support marketing effectiveness and business performance. You will also contribute to forward-thinking transformation projects involving artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, helping to develop innovative approaches to data integration, media planning and campaign activation.
Responsibilities:- Managing data integrations with clients, between our own platforms and external 3rd party platforms, data partners and development partners.
- Project management, co-ordinating various stakeholders to make sure the right access is set up, the data is validated and documenting the process and updates clearly and regularly.
- Building/implementing and scaling solutions across clients, enabling data-driven activation and campaign activation.
- Play a key part in enabling clients to fully lean into utilising their data to its full potential, improving the effectiveness of their marketing goals, and helping them gain value.
- Be involved in future-facing marketing transformation projects for the agency and clients.
- Creating and maintaining ELT pipelines to ensure data freshness and accuracy, working with teams to resolve missing data points and build robust and trustworthy data sets.
- Salesforce experience essential.
- Experience in an engineering/developer role with an emphasis on media and marketing data solutions.
- Strong experience and understanding of marketing platforms, metrics and KPIs.
- Industry experience of SQL and Python.
- A track record of implementing cloud-based data solutions.
- The ability to manage projects and processes independently.
- A good understanding of business and marketing performance metrics.
- A good understanding of the ad/mar-tech landscape.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to assimilate information quickly and adhere to processes and best practices.
- Highly numerate and able to confidently work with data to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
- Collaborative with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and have the ability to train others.
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple projects.
